Hi, My name is Saida
I am a neurodivergent psychotherapeutic counsellor based in Bristol, working online throughout the UK.
As a counsellor, my role is to support you on your unique journey. Whether you're coping with emotional distress, overcoming trauma and life challenges, navigating the complexities of a new neurodivergent identity, or seeking self-awareness and growth, I'm here to help. Using techniques and interventions tailored to neurodivergent experiences, I offer a safe and judgment-free space where you can freely express yourself without societal expectations or limitations. I can support you in recognising, expressing, and managing difficult emotions, identifying healthy coping strategies, and promoting self-compassion.
I work with individuals at any stage of their neurodivergent journey—whether you were diagnosed in childhood, recently as an adult, or are just beginning to explore the possibility of being neurodivergent. Self-diagnosis is valid and recognising even a few neurodivergent challenges is a strong and important reason to seek support. You don’t need to justify your need for a neurodivergent counsellor; if you’re feeling unsure or have doubts about your neurodivergence, I’m here to listen and support you without judgment.
I am a BACP-registered counsellor with a master’s degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. My education and training span a wide range of therapeutic approaches, including Person-centred, Psychodynamic, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, and trauma-informed care. I have worked in mental health care within the NHS, private psychiatric hospitals, and non-profit charities, gaining a deep understanding of mental health challenges.
I provide long-term and short-term counselling and I have availability for weekly and fortnightly sessions. I aim to offer flexibility where I can. Do not hesitate to contact me and we can discuss your options further.
